Perm Schoolchildren Win the All-Russian Patriotic Competition

The finals of the tenth anniversary All-Russian patriotic competition "Sons and Daughters of the Fatherland" took place in Moscow. In the "Formation Review and Song" category, the Young Army detachment from School No. 116, "Great-Grandchildren of Victory," won first place in the final round, the "March of the Victors," and received a gold medal.
"Our Young Army detachment has been a consistent winner and prize-winner of the competition in various age categories for many years. This victory is the result of the teamwork of the detachment's leaders and the efforts of our children," noted Natalya Mokrushina, Principal of School No. 116.
The students have been members of the Young Army for five years. Every year, the detachment participates in parades, forced marches, city and regional competitions such as "Ratnik" and "Zarnitsa 2.0," and national and international vocal competitions. Thanks to this, as well as weekly training, the boys were able to advance to the final round of the national competition and win.
